Phillis Wheatley Community Center

Join us for our third annual symposium that brings community members together for building connection and advancing justice. This year’s theme Voices of Courage, honors those who speak and act with bravery in the face of adversity. The day will feature Jennifer Pinckney, survivor of the Mother Emanuel AME Church shooting, an engaging workshop with award-winning author Omkari Williams, and meaningful lunch conversations facilitated by My Neighbor’s Voice. Together, we’ll explore what it means to cultivate courage amid uncertainty.
